Volunteer Income Tax Program

VITP tax preparation services are offered free of charge to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria, and includes completing taxes for current and previous years.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the VITP, individuals must have a modest income and a simple tax situation.
Modest Income
A modest income means the total family income is less than or equal to the amount shown below, based on the size of the family.
Family Size: Total Income must be under:
1 person $35,000
2 persons $45,000
3 persons $47,500
4 persons $50,000
5 or more persons $52,500 plus $2,500 for each additional person
Family size includes an individual, or a couple, and their dependents.
This program is coordinated by FFCS and supported by local volunteers and tax professionals.
