Summer Student Health & Social Services Assistant

Full-Time, temporary, 35 hours per week, 16-week term (May-August 2026)

Flagstaff Family & Community Services is a community motivated organization which acts as advocate, facilitator and coordinator to bring community development and preventative programs through education and support to individuals and families in need.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated summer students to join our team to support a variety of projects and initiatives. These positions will offer valuable hands-on experience in community programming, administration, event planning, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning and delivery of community programming, including the Flagstaff Fun Wagon community program.

- Provide support in day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and communications.

- Engage with the community and participate in outreach activities.

- Assist in project documentation and reporting as required.

- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.

- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection status.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

- Must plan to begin or return to studies/educational opportunities in the Fall of 2026.
